Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Project Specialist to work with customers on large projects, time-sensitive deadlines and complex orders. You will act as the liaison between vendor and customer to ensure materials reach the site when and how needed, supporting a variety of projects from stadium renovations to hospital upgrades.

You will perform order entry, prepare material submittals, handle returns, and provide reporting to customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Organizational skills and customer service mindset are essential.
• 2+ years of experience preferred in a project coordination or related role.
• High School education required; a 4-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform order entry on large project orders.
• Prepare and revise material submittals for customers.
• Handle returns and credits.
• Provide reporting to customers and suppliers using project software.
• Coordinate item deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
• Execute job lot billing and process invoices for payment.
