Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Project Specialist to collaborate with customers on large, time-sensitive projects. You will act as the liaison between vendor and customer to ensure material arrives at the project site when needed and in the right quantities.

In this role you will perform order entry, prepare submittals, handle returns and credits, provide reporting, coordinate deliveries, and manage job lot billing and invoicing using project software.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• 2+ years of relevant project/customer support experience.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma required; a four-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders on large project orders.
• Prepare and revise material submittals for customers.
• Handle returns and credits.
• Provide reporting to customers and suppliers using project software.
• Coordinate item deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
• Execute job lot billing and process invoices for payment.
