Job summary

Motion Industries seeks a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill customer orders and manage incoming calls. Under close supervision, you will respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and enter orders to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries and provide quotes; enter orders.
• Place customer orders by phone, fax, email, or counter sales.
• Negotiate sale/pricing within approved parameters to protect gross profit.
• Build relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Ensure inventory availability; source from branch, DC, or suppliers.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• Coordinate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expedite backorders and handle returns as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
