Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Order Coordinator to take and process customer orders and address inquiries and complaints. You will place orders for materials, process purchase orders, provide quotes, manage billing, and coordinate credits.

You will maintain customer files and support sales teams while ensuring timely communication and accuracy. Comfort with reading sales reports, operating instructions, and procedure manuals is essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with computer data-entry.
• Experience in the corrugated box industry preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents (sales reports, operating instructions).
• Ability to perform basic math and compute ratios and percentages for cost and volume.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems.
• Knowledge of products and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders from customers or sales representatives.
• Place orders on a timely basis for purchases of materials and supplies to be used in production.
• Process purchase orders, provide quotes to customers, process billing and coordinate credits.
• Handle customer complaints and questions and follow-up with internal personnel as required.
• Maintain all customer files, record and distribute customer order changes, email confirmations to customers and assist sales personnel as appropriate.
• Assist in generating supplemental sales.
• Track warehouse items to ensure availability and that minimum/maximum levels are followed and analyze monthly usages and re-stocking per customer.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and take on any additional duties assigned by management.
