Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Springdale, AR. Under close supervision, you will accurately fulfill customer orders and handle incoming calls to ensure customer satisfaction.

You will enter orders, provide quotes, coordinate shipping, manage backorders and returns, and work with account teams to optimize profitability while keeping inventory aligned with demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–3 years related experience.
• Reliability, organization, and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and handle order entry.
• Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales).
• Influence gross profit by negotiating price and purchase price within parameters.
• May adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Ensure inventory levels are adequate by ordering items as needed.
• Place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO without approval.
• Source products from branch, distribution center, or supplier inventories.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for customer orders.
• Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expedite backorders, pull inventory, and prepare orders for shipment.
• May handle customer returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
