Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a General Manager for our Ground Handling Department at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton station. The role oversees operational activities, staffing, scheduling, and compliance with policies to ensure safe and efficient service.

The ideal candidate will lead Shift Managers, Supervisors, and Agents, drive performance, conduct reviews, and implement corporate goals in daily operations. Travel may be required, and a strong background in airport operations helps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory or management experience in airline operations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Business, or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee station labor relations, operations efficiencies, maintenance, facilities, and safety and security.
• Coach and develop staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Schedule staff, assign work, manage overtime and rotations.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports; ensure compliance with policies.
• Work with management to implement corporate goals in daily routines.
