Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Shift Manager, Ground Handling, to support Station Management in coordinating daily ground handling operations in alignment with FAA rules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven success as a team leader with manpower planning.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and Aircraft Operator Security Program requirements.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Able to collaborate with all management levels and staff.
• Experience with internal controls for accountability items.

Responsibilities

• Assist with station labor relations, operations efficiencies, maintenance, facilities, safety, and security.
• Oversee daily operations with company goals and customer expectations in mind.
• Coach and develop staff; provide career guidance.
• Correct non-compliant behavior and apply disciplinary action as required.
• Implement corporate policies and goals into daily routines.
• Manage a staff with varied duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.
