Job summary

Kirkland’s, Inc. is seeking a Sales Leader to drive customer-obsessed selling in-store and online, while modeling professional behavior and brand standards. You will work with the Store Manager to execute business plans and lead a team to deliver strong sales and customer experiences.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to motivate others, and a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year management experience in retail or service industry.
• Strong communications skills and customer selling experience required.
• Energetic, people and results oriented, competitive with a drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and values customer selling in both in-store and online shopping experiences.
• Promotes a customer-obsessed culture prioritizing selling behaviors: Greeting, Re-engaging, Educating, Adding on, and Thanking customers.
• Understands role in sales growth and impact on store profitability.
• Reads cues and responds to customers to create an exceptional in-store experience.
• Educates customers on loyalty programs, promotions and merchandise to build the basket.
• Represents Kirkland’s as a brand ambassador with respectful, professional conduct.
• Leads by example and enforces company policies and procedures.
• Executes Manager on Duty responsibilities (opening/closing, supervision, etc.).
• Assists in freight, stockroom organization, merchandising directives, pricing, and inventory accuracy.
