Job summary

Mars is seeking a Customer Manager, Farm & Home to lead regional distributor and direct business efforts in the Northwest and Central US. The role emphasizes developing and implementing customer business plans to achieve annual operating and trade investment goals.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in FMCG sales/marketing/category management, plus strong forecasting and syndicated data skills. Travel 25–35% is required, with opportunities for growth and bonus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years in Sales, Marketing, or Category Management in FMCG industries.
• Prior account management experience.
• Fluent in forecasting process, trade management and syndicated data sources.
• Broker/distributor management experience preferred.
• Ability to travel 25–35% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio mix of regional distributor/broker business and direct business.
• Leverage category team to create insight-led presentations to drive category growth for Mars and the retailer.
• Manage customer trade in conjunction with RGM guidelines for maximum ROI.
• Responsible for accurate forecasting, gap identification and subsequent fill.
• Cross-functional collaboration with finance, sales strategy, customer service and demand planning.
