Job summary

Colonial Group in Enid, OK is seeking a Customer Service Loan Specialist to support the branch manager by processing loan applications, assembling documents, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will contact customers about payments, facilitate extensions and modifications, maintain accurate loan records, and help grow the loan portfolio through proactive customer service and cross-selling of ancillary products.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience in any field.
• 6 months collections experience, a plus.
• High School/GED preferred.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative approach.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and persuasive sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Persuade customers to pay the amount due or arrange for payment via phone or mail.
• Properly closes loans by ensuring all loan requirements are explained.
• Execute collection calls on overdue accounts.
• Uses loan management software to enter payments and manage accounts.
• Maintains all necessary forms and loan documents for accounts per guidelines and laws.
• In the manager's absence, oversee office operations to maintain continuity.
