Colonial Group is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service/Collections Loan Specialist to support the branch manager by ensuring efficient loan processing, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation.

You will contact customers for payment arrangements, handle extensions and modifications, enter payments, and maintain loan files while delivering strong service and sales in a collaborative office environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year Customer Service experience in any field.
• 6 months Collections experience, a plus.
• High School/GED preferred.
• Proficiency in operating systems and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative approach.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and persuasive sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Persuade customers to pay due amounts or arrange payment via phone or mail.
• Close loans by explaining all loan requirements.
• Execute collection calls on overdue accounts.
• Locate past due customers using company tools.
• Ensure accurate processing of loan applications and timely updates.
