Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience in any field.
• 6 months collections experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative approach.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and persuasive sales.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Persuade customers to pay overdue amounts by phone or mail.
• Close loans by explaining all requirements.
• Execute collection calls on overdue accounts.
• Locate past due customers using location services.
• Review pending applications and contact prospects for timely processing.
• Sell loans to former and prospective customers to grow accounts.
• Sell ancillary products (taxes, referrals, car club).
• Maintain loan documents per guidelines and laws.
• Enter payments into the loan management software.
• Maintain collection notes on account screens.
