Job summary

Motion Industries seeks a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill customer orders and manage incoming calls, under close supervision. You will respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and enter orders via telephone, fax, email, or walk-in.

You will influence gross profit by negotiating sale and purchase prices within parameters, adjust non-contract pricing when appropriate, and build relationships to drive repeat business.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–3 years of related experience.
• Experience with order entry and customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries about products.
• Provide quotes and process orders via phone, fax, email, or in person.
• Negotiate pricing within approved parameters to influence gross profit.
• Build and maintain relationships to drive repeat business.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to meet demand.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• Expedite backorders and handle customer returns.
• Collaborate with Account Representatives to ensure satisfaction.
