Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a dedicated coordinator to act as the primary contact for North America Applied Equipment contracts, guiding orders from receipt to delivery. You will liaise with Sales, Field Operations, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure on-time fulfillment and issue resolution.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and experience in fast-paced environments, with Oracle exposure and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus 4 years servicing internal or external customers is required.
• A minimum of 6 years servicing internal or external customers is required if non-degreed.
• Superior telephone personality and excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PC applications; Oracle experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a single point of contact for Sales and Field Operations for North America Applied Equipment contracts from receipt of order to delivery.
• Communicate with factories and field offices to arrange shipments per customer requirements and satisfaction.
• Monitor orders and expediting to prevent delays and extra costs.
• Follow up on holds, issue special shipping instructions, and coordinate domestic trucking deliveries.
• Input responses in IBS and maintain accurate information; resolve SelNav problems with Marketing or Product Management.
