Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an onsite Installation Coordinator to manage the end-to-end scheduling of installations, coordinating installers and subcontractors, and ensuring on-time completion.

You will liaise with customers, track materials, and prepare required paperwork from booking to closeout. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate professionally with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installers and subcontractors onto installation jobs.
• Schedule installations from customer contact to contract closeout.
• Make initial contact with customers within 48 hours of booking.
• Coordinate technicians and vendors to ensure on-time installation completion.
• Create job packets with installation details and forms for installers.
• Track delivery of materials and update the Installation Portal.
• Close out installations with necessary paperwork and cross-department communication.
• Act as backup for Material Handler when needed.
• Coordinate EHS documentation for the branch.
