Job summary

Citizens in Michigan is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet clients in our lobby, demonstrate mobile banking and ATM usage, and help customers complete transactions. You will deliver personalized advice and connect customers with Bankers for next steps, all while following bank policies and cash-handling guidelines.

This role emphasizes listening, communication, and problem solving to build long-term relationships.

Qualifications

High School degree or GED.
Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
Strong listening and communication skills.
Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in lobby and assist with transactions.
Demonstrate how to use mobile app or ATMs to complete transactions.
Provide personalized advice and connect customers with Bankers for further steps.
Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits while ensuring compliance with policies.
