Job summary

Citizens Bank is hiring a Citizens Teller to greet customers, assist with transactions, and promote banking products in our branch. You will guide customers in using our mobile app and ATMs, delivering personalized financial advice while ensuring strict adherence to policies and cash handling rules.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and a customer-centric mindset. Weekend and evening shifts may be required as branch hours vary.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobbies and demonstrate how to use mobile app or ATMs.
• Provide personalized advice and solutions to meet customers' financial goals.
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits and connect them to Bankers for next steps.
• Follow all financial policies, procedures, and cash handling regulations.
