Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Citizens Teller to greet customers in the lobby, demonstrate mobile app and ATM usage, and complete simple transactions. You will provide personalized advice to help customers achieve financial goals and connect them with Bankers for next steps.

The role emphasizes applying Citizens policies, strong cash handling, and excellent service to build long-term relationships with customers. Weekend/evening shifts may be required, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED is required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to develop a long-term customer relationship.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the lobby and assist with simple transactions using mobile apps or ATMs.
• Provide personalized advice and connect customers to Bankers for next steps.
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits while following all policies and cash handling procedures.
