Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage and maintain stores within your district, blending customer service with property upkeep to meet company standards.

You will build relationships with customers, meet monthly sales goals, conduct daily site tasks, handle leasing and payments with our POS, and keep units and common areas clean, safe, and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with passion for helping people
• Experience delivering high quality customer service to diverse customers
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus
• Basic computer skills including MS Office
• Ability to work Saturdays
• Access to personal vehicle, valid driver's license, insurance
• Physical ability to perform daily tasks including walking, bending, and climbing
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience
• Interacting face to face with customers and building rapport
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units
• Renting units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments with POS, daily bank deposits, and courteous late-payment calls
• Maintaining the facility including cleaning, mopping, lighting, and decluttering offices
