Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to help manage day-to-day store duties, assist customers, and keep the property well-maintained. You will join a team that values service, reliability, and safe, clean facilities across the district.

You will work primarily daytime hours with possible Sunday variations, handling leasing, payments, and customer needs while contributing to a positive, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• You must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, daily bank deposits, and calling customers about late payments.
• Physically maintain the facility including cleaning, opening/closing doors, and basic upkeep.
