Job summary

Paylocity in Indianapolis is seeking an Account Coordinator to respond to customer needs, accept freight, build and schedule loads in our TMS, and communicate any service issues to the appropriate team members.

You will foster customer relationships, generate rates, enter shipment data, and identify potential service failures while working with Operations to maximize on-time freight bookings and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help foster and build relationships with customers by understanding their expectations and preferences.
• Generate rates through quoting tool and submit rates to customers; accept tendered freight and build/schedule loads.
• Enter shipment data into the TMS system accurately and completely.
• Proactively identify potential service failures and work with Operations to remedy issues.
• Communicate status updates to customers and provide solutions to problems.
• Plan ahead with Operations to maximize freight bookings.
• Understand and use customer-issued scorecards to improve service.
• Update customer websites with shipment information.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
