HorseShoe Beverage Company seeks a Logistics Specialist in Indianapolis to support account executives and ensure orders are appointed, covered, picked up, and delivered on time.

You will set appointments with shippers, monitor loads, and maintain data accuracy in the TMS, collaborating with carriers and operations to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. This role offers opportunities for growth and a strong team atmosphere.

Job Summary

As a Logistics Specialist, you are responsible for operational support and assisting with Account Executive's book of business. You will ensure all customer orders are appointed, covered, picked up, and delivered on time, supporting continued business and the growth of a book of business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform account specific tasks i.e. load building, load scheduling, overflow check calls, etc.
• Set appointments with shippers and receivers and record information in McLeod and Customer’s TMS.
• Provide basic customer and carrier support duties and escalate issues to Account Executive or Carrier Sales team as needed.
• Build relationships with load coordinators and others responsible for supporting freight.
• Monitor and track loads as needed to ensure details are accurately communicated and proactively identify potential problems.
• Provide necessary communication updates and issue resolution for operations and customers as required.
• Ensure accurate data capture, data integrity and TMS system entry in all carrier and customer related functions.
