Job summary

Backhaul Direct in Indianapolis is seeking a Logistics Account Coordinator to join our Customer Operations team. You will coordinate shipments end-to-end, validate load details, and schedule pickups and deliveries while communicating with carriers and internal teams.

This in-office role offers hands-on exposure to logistics operations, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and prior logistics exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating shipments end-to-end using a TMS.
• Ability to enter and validate load details across systems.
• Excellent communication with carriers, customers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Accept load tenders and build shipments in Grapevine TMS.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries via phone, email, or scheduling systems.
• Dispatch and track carriers, providing timely load information.
• Resolve scheduling, service issues, delays, or damages.
• Assist with customer service and billing inquiries.
• Support onboarding of new accounts.
