Hogan Transportation Companies is seeking a Fleet Manager in Ohio to provide operational leadership to drivers assigned to a customer account and ensure high-quality service with safe, timely deliveries.

You will coach, train, and evaluate drivers, coordinate schedules, and work with customers to meet their needs while maintaining safety and policy compliance. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in the transportation/trucking industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct drivers to meet client expectations and company policies.
• Address driver performance issues through coaching or discipline.
• Interview prospective drivers and assist in hiring decisions.
• Conduct 30- and 60-day driver performance reviews.
• Coordinate schedules and routes to maximize profits.
• Ensure safety compliance and safe working environment.
• Monitor driver payroll accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide daily accounting of trucks and drivers.
• Communicate with drivers about traffic, weather, and hazards; develop contingency plans.
