Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Claims Support Specialist in Massachusetts. You will engage with customers, assist with claims, process payments, and manage data across the claims workflow.

The role supports multiple departments to ensure timely resolution of claims while maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience or a bachelor’s degree, and strong skills in Microsoft Office, communication, and data

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of service-related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT: Serve as a customer service rep for the claim department, addressing questions and concerns, routing callers as needed.
• CLAIM OPERATIONAL SERVICE AND PARTNERSHIPS: Assist with claims, document files, review records, and prepare documents for reviews.
• CLAIM PAYMENTS AND EXPENSE PROCESSING: Process payments and related financial transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• DATA AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT: Generate reports, update discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
• FINANCIAL CONTROLS AND ASSESSMENTS: Contribute to financial standards and data quality checks.
