Responsibilities

• CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT: Serve as a customer service rep for the claim department by addressing questions and concerns, routing callers to the right department and answering claim status questions.
• CLAIM OPERATIONAL SERVICE AND PARTNERSHIPS: Document claim files, request reports, review medical bills, prepare claim documents for reviews, and manage mail and supplies.
• CLAIM PAYMENTS AND EXPENSE PROCESSING: Process and document claim payments, including vendor invoices and medical processing fees, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• DATA AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT: Generate and review reports, update data discrepancies, and maintain operational records.
• FINANCIAL CONTROLS AND ASSESSMENTS: Assist with financial standards and reconciliations and document findings.
• May require lifting items up to 20 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
