Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in Massachusetts seeks a Customer Service Representative for the Claims team to support customers and partners. Under moderate supervision, you will engage with claim professionals, manage data, and process payments and records.

Responsibilities include triage, documenting files, handling mail, and applying financial controls while maintaining accurate information and timely communications with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a customer service representative for the claim department by addressing questions and concerns, routing callers, and answering claim status and payment questions.
• Partners with claim professionals to assist with timely resolution of claims, document files, request reports, review medical bills, and prepare claim documents.
• Ensures proper handling of financial transactions, including claim payments and vendor invoices; maintains timeliness and accuracy.
• Maintains accurate records and generates/reads reports, updates data discrepancies, and prepares operational and financial reports.
• Assists with claim center financial standards and performs underlying controls and reconciliations.
