Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Service Advisor in California to serve as the primary contact for owners, guiding them through the service journey with empathy and clear communication. The role coordinates with service production, parts, and customer touchpoints as Rivian expands its service footprint.

Ideal candidates will have strong English communication, customer-service experience, and the ability to manage schedules, billing, and documentation while upholding Rivian’s hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Available for a 40-hour week which may include weekends/holidays.
• Proficient with laptops/computers and CRM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Rivian owners from appointment to handover.
• Document owner concerns in the repair order and set expectations.
• Translate technician information into clear owner explanations.
• Provide regular updates on vehicle status and timelines.
• Coordinate with Parts and Production to align service activities.
• Prepare and explain estimates and invoices clearly.
• Maintain thorough records of communications and repairs to meet metrics.
• Uphold Rivian hospitality, presentation, and process standards.
• Serve as the on-site liaison between Service Center operations and Rivian Support.
