Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Service Advisor in Texas to be the primary contact for owners throughout their service journey. The role requires empathy, organization, and brand alignment to deliver a seamless experience and clear communication between customers and the service team.

Candidates should excel in customer engagement, de-escalation, and coordination with parts/production, while upholding Rivian’s hospitality standards and brand voice at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 40-hour work week including weekends/holidays/varied shifts.
• Proficient with laptops, computers, and modern software suites (Windows, Google Workspace, Mac, CRM systems, etc.).
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing or walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Rivian owners, managing the service experience from appointment to handover.
• Actively listen to owner concerns, document them, and set clear visit expectations.
• Translate technician information into clear explanations for owners.
• Proactively communicate updates on vehicle status and timelines.
• Coordinate with Parts and Production to align service activities.
• Explain estimates and invoices clearly and accurately.
• Maintain impeccable records of communications and repairs, meeting performance metrics.
