Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to be one of the first associates customers meet, guiding them through product choices and project needs. You will become the product expert, sharing features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You will work in various departments based on needs, and contribute to achieving sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years in external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, scheduling installer visits, and tracking orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors for stock replacement.
• Assist with pricing reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout and store communications; train associates on the sales floor.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
