Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to lead Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive exceptional service and up-to-date product information. The role emphasizes safety, merchandising, pricing and efficient checkout in a fast-paced retail setting.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service or sales experience, plus strong communication and multitasking abilities. Forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses and maintain knowledge of merchandise.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections and process transactions at checkout.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
• Communicate SOP changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Operate Industrial Truck (forklift) certification and procedures.
• Stock, tag, and create price tags and signs as required.
