Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a customer-focused team member to deliver seamless store experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, and support order pickup and returns while maintaining a positive, trust-building environment.

You will also mentor new hires on the register, uphold privacy and security of customer data, and promote Nordstrom Loyalty and new tools to enhance service. Hours vary, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency in Windows, iOS and Android.
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training to support onboarding of new hires.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical mobility for shift activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly service and own customer interactions from start to finish.
• Resolve returns and support order pickup inquiries.
• Process transactions accurately using POS and store systems.
• Mentor new employees on the register.
• Protect the security and privacy of customer information.
• Promote Nordstrom Loyalty program and new tools and services.
