Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus at least 6 months customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer experience by understanding needs and delivering solutions in moments that matter.
• Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations; identify self-service opportunities.
• Engage in lobby management, meeting and greeting customers and addressing their immediate needs.
• Balance and process transactions accurately following Bank Policy.
• Take ownership of escalated account services issues until resolution; log complaints.
• Transition sales opportunities and refer to banking partners.
• Complete branch-related operational activities (cash orders, vault, ATM, wires).
• Perform AML/KYC/compliance activities and adhere to risk controls.
• Promote the M&T Bank brand and company values.
• Assist in audits and implement improvement points as applicable.
