Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to lead cashiering, returns processing, and daily cash office tasks while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

You will train and develop Customer Service Associates, supervise workload, monitor performance, and ensure policies, scheduling, payroll, and safety standards are followed.

This role combines hands-on leadership with strong communication in a fast-paced home improvement environment.

Qualifications

• One year customer service/cashier supervisory experience.
• Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter.
• Demonstrated proficiency in training associates.
• Excellent communication, delegation, follow-up, and analytical skills.
• Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in supervising a fast-paced environment adapting to change with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to all Customer Service Associates to ensure a highly attentive and accurate level of customer service.
• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Open and close registers and follow cash handling procedures.
• Train, develop and supervise associates; monitor workload and performance.
