Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a trainer/developer for Product Sales Specialists to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience through exceptional service and product information.

The role requires coaching, merchandising oversight, and certification completion, with a focus on customer engagement and effective operational processes. This position is full-time and based in-store, with safety and procedural standards guiding daily activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, and department organization.
• Communicate SOP changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Process check-out and returns according to guidelines.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
• Present ‘how-to’ classes to customers.
• Stock and tag merchandise displays and create price tags.
