Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to lead the checkout and customer service teams in a high-volume store. You will train associates, manage daily cash handling, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience for every customer.

Responsibilities include directing associates, processing checkout, refunds, exchanges, and maintaining accurate signage while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year customer service/cashier supervisory experience required.
• Ability to perform in a high-volume, complex location.
• Demonstrated initiative and self-starting attitude.
• Proven ability to train associates.
• Excellent communication, delegation, follow-up, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to associates to ensure a highly attentive and accurate level of customer service.
• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system including refunds and exchanges.
• Open and close registers and follow cash/credit handling procedures.
• Answer the telephone according to guidelines and maintain signage and pricing accuracy.
• Train, develop and supervise associates and define workload.
• Monitor retention and development; communicate with the General Manager on performance.
• Address and document unsatisfactory performance and policy violations.
