Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Store Specialist in Hyannis, MA to deliver outstanding customer service and manage POS transactions in a fast-paced retail environment. You will maintain displays, stock shelves, and ensure adherence to merchandising standards while supervising assigned associates and operations.

The role requires full-time availability, including nights and weekends, with compensation discussed at the store level.

Qualifications

• Prior retail merchandising, customer service and/or cashier experience in other retail environments is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Full-time associates must have availability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships by providing exceptional customer service through the T.R.E.A.T. model.
• Assist customers with inquiries, locate items, complete purchases, and handle transactions.
• Promote company-wide customer initiatives (donations, loyalty programs, promotions).
• Maintain visually appealing displays, restock assigned areas, and merchandise new items.
• Train and coordinate assigned associates, manage breaks according to policy.
