Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and customer transactions, and uphold a premier customer experience. You will assist with vendor deliveries, inventory, pricing, and displays while maintaining compliance with store policies.

Required is at least one year of leadership or retail experience and fluency in English. Pharmacy certification or license may be required by state regulations in certain locations.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Manages store keys to open/close without management and assists with vendor deliveries.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and pricing, registers sales and price verifications.
• Assists with displays, stock rotation, and backroom activities to support operations.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws on regulated products.
