Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Manager to oversee daily store functions, customer relations, leasing, cash handling, and maintenance. You will focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience while meeting sales targets and managing budgets.

You will walk the property, supervise staff, schedule tasks, and coordinate with corporate. This on-site role requires strong communication, reliability, and weekend availability, including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse customer base.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, and handling daily deposits; making courtesy calls about late payments.
• Processing invoices and maintaining reports related to auctions and store expenses.
• Overseeing the store’s expense budget and retail inventory.
