Job summary

Graybar seeks a Customer Service Representative to be a key contact for customers, handling orders and requests with timely, courteous service. You will assist with product selection, pricing, and application support, ensuring every interaction meets quality standards.

Work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Starting pay rate is $25.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and employee ownership culture that Graybar offers to eligible full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• A passion for customer service.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• 2+ years experience preferred.
• High School education.
• 2 year or 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality.
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues.
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application.
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims.
