Job summary

CarMax Gainesville is seeking a Customer Specialist in Training to provide a customer-first experience across buying, selling, and servicing vehicles. You will guide customers through steps, support appraisals, paperwork, and service coordination in a fast-paced store.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Basic MS Office proficiency is a plus, with opportunities to grow within CarMax.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service through sales, appraisals, test drives, and financing applications.
• Conduct vehicle condition assessments and document findings for appraisals.
• Manage inventory processes including check-in, scanning, and reconciliation.
• Perform cosmetic inspections to meet CarMax Quality Standards.
• Handle paperwork, prints reports, audits documents, and manage payments.
• Coordinate service appointments and review invoices for billing accuracy.
