Job summary

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (the Exchange) at Fort Irwin seeks Customer Experience Associates to support guests across the base. You will greet customers, process transactions, bag merchandise, and assist with moving large or heavy items while maintaining a welcoming attitude.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School or the equivalent.
• This vacancy is to express interest in working with the Exchange in an entry level intermittent retail position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and other team members.
• Willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with eye contact and smile in your authentic way
• Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to your lane
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers
• Help customers by following proper bagging and handling procedures
