Job summary

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service, known as the Exchange, is hiring a Customer Experience Associate at Fort Bliss. You’ll greet customers, process transactions, and help with bagging/moving items while delivering friendly service to Soldiers, Airmen, and families.

We welcome applicants who can learn new technology, think quickly, and communicate clearly. Prior retail or cash handling experience is a plus, and eligibility to work on DoD property is assumed.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School or the equivalent.
• Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Able to think quickly on the spot to answer customer questions.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and other team members.
• Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with eye contact and a smile in your authentic way.
• Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to your lane.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in appropriate conversation.
• Help customers by following the proper procedure for bagging merchandise and moving large or heavy items.
