Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver prompt, professional service to customers and prospects in our Atlanta-area locations. You will help with account information, maintenance, and inquiries, contributing to customer retention and satisfaction.

You will work in a team-oriented environment, utilizing your knowledge of banking products and services to resolve issues and promote appropriate solutions, while meeting service goals and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education and training.
• 1+ years of customer service or call center experience preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in financial services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, programs, and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, accurate, and professional service to customers.
• Assist consumers and commercial customers with account information and maintenance.
• Research and respond to customer inquiries and fulfill service requests.
• Maintain knowledge of banking products, programs, services, and promotions.
• Identify root causes of issues and offer resolutions with supervision when needed.
• Deliver world-class service to callers across multiple queues.
• Maintain accurate call documentation.
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate bank products and services.
