Job summary

Ashley Furniture is expanding its retail team in Hobbs, NM, seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the friendly, front-line ambassador for the brand. You will handle customer interactions in person, by phone, and email, support store operations, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include processing orders, managing accounts, handling cash, and assisting with audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and retail systems.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
• Sales Order Support: Process sales orders with documentation and approvals.
• Customer Account Management: Manage customer credit applications and financing arrangements.
• Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: Follow cash handling procedures and reconcile transactions.
• Customer Issue Resolution: Address inquiries and escalate to management when needed.
• Audit & Compliance Assistance: Support audits and inventory processes.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records and file paperwork.
• Technology & Systems: Use POS systems and retail software with Microsoft Office.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.
