Job summary

Five Below Inc. is seeking a capable Store Manager on Duty in Silver Springs, NV to oversee daily operations and deliver WOW customer service. You will train and lead crew, manage opening/closing, and ensure safe, compliant store conditions.

You will partner with the store leadership team to maximize sales, control expenses, and maintain merchandising standards while delivering a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOW-ing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assists with the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manages the opening/closing process including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and daily operations readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with the store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining stock room.
