Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a front-of-store leader at TJ Maxx in Lynchburg, VA. You will promote an outstanding customer experience, supervise Associates, and model high standards of service while supporting loyalty programs and store initiatives.

As a leader, you will train team members, coordinate POS coverage, and drive execution of the store plan. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to train others.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience and lead front-of-store interactions.
• Oversee a team of Associates and ensure prompt, courteous service and loyalty-program promotion.
• Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles and customer personalization.
• Assign registers, manage POS coverage, and coordinate breaks.
• Address customer concerns promptly and maintain a positive store experience.
• Ensure tasks align with store plan and priorities.
• Communicate with management and staff on progress and priorities.
• Provide recognition and constructive feedback to the team.
• Support management on Associate training needs and labor compliance.
