Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Customer Experience Manager to oversee the front-end department, ensuring efficient checkout, excellent customer service, and strong team leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will train associates, manage scheduling to meet demand and labor targets, and uphold cash handling and safety standards while driving store performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in business desirable.
• Minimum 3 years' management experience in retail or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all front-end department operations and may assume total store operations when needed.
• Promotes excellent customer relations by modeling friendly, helpful service and resolving questions promptly.
• Enforces cash handling and security procedures; complies with policies and laws. Oversees bookkeeping procedures.
• Assists cashiers and conducts audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Trains front-end associates; communicates new programs; recognizes performance; participates in performance reviews.
• Uses scheduling systems to manage associate availability, headcounts, and weekly labor to meet demand and budgeted goals.
• Maintains inventory levels and supplies to support business demands; ensures clean, safe front-end areas.
• Directs customer flow through front-end, manages checkout coverage, and minimizes wait times.
• Maintains equipment and reports issues; communicates promotions and training via team huddles.
