Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager in Illinois to drive sales and deliver WOW customer service. You will oversee daily store operations, train crew on the BEST experience, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout for every guest.

Lead stock receiving, open/close procedures, onboarding and ongoing training of associates, and maintain clean, organized spaces. Requirements include a High School diploma, 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew provide WOW customer service with personal guest contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience and checkouts.
• Oversees daily store activities and staff performance.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty; manages store operations and staff.
• Opens/closes store, secures cash, locks doors, sets alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
