Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a store team lead to promote an exceptional customer experience and supervise front-of-store Associates. You will mentor staff, train on merchandising and loyalty programs, and ensure smooth POS coordination and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include assigning registers, coaching on customer personalization, and addressing issues quickly while maintaining store standards and a positive atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
• Capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to train others and lead a small team.
• 1 year of retail experience and 6 months in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Trains and mentors Associates on front end principles.
• Trains and coaches on personalizing the customer experience and loyalty programs.
• Assigns registers and coordinates breaks for all Associates.
• Addresses customer concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
• Ensures tasks align with store plan and priorities.
• Communicates priorities with management and Associates.
• Provides feedback and recognition; supports training needs.
• Enhances safety and adherence to policies; promotes loyalty programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
